Feed the Hungry Campaign
It is a unique chance for volunteers and organizations to celebrate their efforts and get more people to volunteer across causes.
In the 2022 Global Hunger Index, India ranks 107th out of 121 countries. With a score of 29.1, India has a level of hunger that is serious.
Bhumi is celebrating IVD this year with a massive national Feed the Hungry campaign towards feeding 100,000 needy beneficiaries towards Hunger Free India during Dec 3rd, 4th & 5th .
This International Volunteer Day, you can be the change. Whether you are an individual volunteer, a volunteer leader or a representative from a school, college, NGO or organisation, Bhumi is committed to working with you and supporting you in joining this movement towards a Hunger Free India.
What are we going to do as part of the movement?
Step 2: Nearby hunger spot or zone is identified wherein the feed the hungry drive can be conducted
Step 3: Decide whether food would be prepared by the volunteer or brought from a nearby place or excess collected from nearby hotel or occasion
Step 4: Date, time and venue of preparing the food or collecting food finalised
Step 5: On the day of the drive, food is prepared/collected and distributed in the hunger spot

Sign up and we will add you to relevant whatsapp groups in your area/city and share details of drive setup near you. We will also connect you with other volunteers who have signed up from the same area/city so that you can self-organise and set up the drive together.

We will support you with finding volunteers near you, event communication posters, technical know-how of how to set up a feed the hungry drive, finding a nearby hunger spot, finding a local partner and more.
We will also connect you with other volunteers who have signed up from the same area/city/organisation so that you can self-organise and set up the drive together with them.

Sign up and our team will get back to you. We may not be able to provide Bhumi facilitators in all scenarios based on the availability and preferences. If your institution or organisation is expected to engage more than 300 volunteers and we have facilitators available during that time in the city, we would be happy to have them facilitate the drive.
Our preferred option however is that we are able to empower someone from your institution or organisation to set the event up with our support. The event setup is extremely simple and you also have groomed a leader internally in your team.
