Programme Manager – Ignite, Communities | Chennai
Job nature : Permanent Full-time
Position: The Manager (Ignite) is responsible for managing, coaching and developing the team to ensure efficient and smooth functioning of all learning centres in slum communities. He/she will have to work closely with employees, funding agencies and the community.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Build a strong culture of ownership towards impactful project delivery among all stakeholders
- Oversee the efficient and effective day-to-day operations and delivery of the programme
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, report on the effectiveness of the programme and engage all stakeholders proactively
- Prepare annual budget and manage programme cost
Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:
- Minimum five years’ experience with atleast two years in managing a team
- Teaching experience can be helpful
- Any Graduate or Post Graduate preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to drive outcome oriented plans through the team’s collective effort
- Good influencing skills, people engagement, networking and listening skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Emotional maturity to empathize with the perspectives/needs of team members
- Good computer knowledge and MS office skills
- Highly resourceful team-player, who is self-driven
- Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions

- Remuneration: Rs. 6,00,000 per annum
- Location: Chennai
- Minimum commitment: Two Years
