Excited faces of children and parents actively engaging in discussions were common sights at the Anbana Kudumbam (Loving Family) event at Dhanalakshmi Primary School on 9th April 2022.
Monika, a 2020-22 Cohort Fellow, with the HELO Team organised the event for over 120 parents of the school with the aim of creating awareness around mental health, well-being, and effective parenting. Participants had the opportunity to engage in an interesting play by children, reflect on and discuss self-management strategies in groups, and play games with their children.
