The excitement was palpable at Bhumi as we welcomed our new cohort of 23 enthusiastic Fellows in June 2023. These fellows were carefully recruited with the support of Bhumi’s Marketing & Communications Team. Their journey as Fellows began with a month-long learning and development space called Institute ’23.
Institute ’23 provided an immersive learning experience for the Fellows, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge needed to become change-makers in their communities. This year’s Institute provided an excellent platform for our Fellows to interact with influential social entrepreneurs such as Ashweetha Shetty from the Bodhi Tree Foundation, Regila Marinus from Vidhya Vidhai, and Karthikeyan from the Sristi Foundation. The Fellows had the unique opportunity to engage with these visionaries, learning from their experiences, challenges, and triumphs.
But that’s not all – our co-founder Dr. Prahalathan, a driving force behind Bhumi’s initiatives, also shared invaluable insights with the Fellows. Institute ’23 also featured self-development and numeracy skills sessions conducted by partner organisations, Wisdom Tree and Aavishkaar.
The month-long Institute ’23 was a transformative experience for our Fellows, empowering them with theoretical knowledge and practical skills that will undoubtedly set them apart as true catalysts for change.
