Bhumi Fundraising Challenge 2022

UNESCO estimates that 32 Crore students in India are affected due to COVID-19 school closures and almost 2.4 crore children are at risk of not returning to school next year due to the economic fallout of COVID-19 pandemic. The educational financing gap is also likely to increase by one third.
Bhumi identifies such children from shelter homes/orphanages, communities & underprivileged families and sponsors their school and college education. We could change the lives of 1000+ students with the help of volunteers like you. 
There are more deserving children out there who’re hoping to get support. You can help them.

Attend our online orientation to know more about fundraising, scholarship etc. We will also guide you; all through the fundraising time period to make your journey easy and enjoyable.  

Timelines

Fundraising happens between Feb 1, 2022 – Mar 30, 2022.
Online Orientation happens on multiple dates & timings during the challenge. You can attend any one at your convenience. More details will be shared after sign up.

Can I raise funds for causes other than scholarships?

Yes, Bhumi encourages you to raise funds not just for the scholarships but for any cause of your choice for your corresponding programme/center involving educational and environmental needs.  Examples:
  • education of children
  • sponsoring children to attend Nakshatra
  • Scholarships for students from families affected by COVID
  • Festival celebration in children’s homes  – Diwali / Christmas / New year / Children’s Day
  • fulfilling small wishes of children – Joy to the world
  • Supporting children in shelter homes with computers for online classes
  • planting tree saplings or cleanup
